11 turnovers for the game...we actually had 14 but 3 turnovers were to Jared Carter and his cat like speed reflexes..lol..I believe jared had 2 balls slip through his hands but still..I know jared is getting better just had to mess with him...lol....11 turnovers is awesome compared to our games we have had and also our forced turn overs for FIU gave us 27 pts also....Lookin forward to Louisville it was good to hear the radio talking bout Ky turning season around and callers askin if the selection committee would look past our start with players hurt and so forth and ppl are saying if we can beat louisville and go 12-5 in sec...and make it to title of sec we would be 20-12 and should get in....WE JUST HAVE TO TAKE ONE GAME AT A TIME..and we will be alright and it starts with Louisville

he made a good kickout pass for a wide open 3, did he grab any boards?

He had a couple of boards.
Also at least 1 maybe 2 of those turnovers that were credited to him were on passes that should not have been made. He got his hand on one that was way off and got credit for the turnover. One turnover was a 3 second call.
I liked what I saw from Jared yesterday. He was aggressive and had more movement. After one play where he did get called for traveling, Gillespi said that's OK because he liked the effort.
Some here are way too hard on Jared.

it went from talking about a good stat to makin a funny comment about jared to ppl taking it to hard on him...if i was being to hard or wanted to I woulda started another post...I dont think jared will ever be a starter unless we get major injurys but i do think we will get solid minutes out of him and i will take 8-9 minutes with 4-6 pts and 3-4 rebs that would be amazing..my post was to never be hard on him thats why i put the lil lol comment behind it...

Actually, I'm excited about Jared's potential.

There will be games where we need his size and his five fouls.

By the time he's a senior, I think we'll really have something in JC.

I think we all need to remember that Jared got very few minutes his freshman year (big mistake IMO but thats in the past) and had to sit out all of last season. He is, as far as game experience goes, still a freshman. If we were seeing out of a freshman, the things that we're seeing out of him, we'd be saying, give him time, he'll get better. It sounds crazy to say that we need to be patient with a junior, but we really do. I'm sure BCG realizes this. But then, I've always been a JC fan, maybe I'm a little biased.
