If I'm not mistaken, Rafael Little's big game against Florida State put him over 1,000 rushing yards on the season. That's been an uncommon accomplishment at UK. I don't believe that anyone other than Rafael Little, Artose Pinner, Moe Williams, Mark Higgs, George Adams and Sonny Collins has ever rushed for over 1,000 yards in a single season at UK. All of those guys, of course, went on to play in the NFL. And Rafael Little did it despite missing games due to injury.

Great year and career for Rafael.

I read where Raffy tied Mo Williams for second place on UK's list of rb's with 100 yard games (13). Just think if he had not missed all those games with injuries.

I think we should expect RB injuries for sub-210# guys unless they're built like Mark Higgs with thighs bigger than most people's chests. There's just too much pounding for it not to happem IMO.

I agree that it should be expected, I was just playing the old "ifin" game. I honestly believe had Raffy been healthy, throughout his career here, he probably would have been UK's all-time leading rusher.

Well, unless you consider that all the other guys missed lots of games because of injuries, too. Only reason Collins didn't have four years of 1000+ yards was because of injuries.

I don't know how many games anyone else missed but, it seems like, Raffy has missed about half the games since he's been here.

Yeah, and that's going to happen most, if not all, of the time with the starter at RB. You have to have at least 4 guys at that spot ready to play when the season begins.
