I think OSU just woke up that Hornet's nest called the LSU Tigers. I went back to 2002 on Scout and couldn't find but one LSU recruiting class not in the top-15 and most were top-5.

Says it all as they may win another title tonight. Oh yeah, OSU was up there every year too (in recruiting) and they are playing their 3rd title game in the last 6 years.

Looks like we match up better against the SEC heavyweights than the Buckeyes do.

I hope high school players in the Cincy area are taking note. If they want the chance to line up against the best teams every week, then by all means they should look to the south.

I know...the game's not over yet. But I expect the Tigers to unload Hester on the Buckeyes in the second half.

I wonder how the Big 10 Commissioner will spin this season for his conference. From Appalachian State to another BCS blowout, they have to be embarrassed. The Rose Bowl didn't look too good for them as well. At least they can point to Michigan's victory over an arrogant bunch of Gators (Try stomping on the opponent's logo again Florida. Because we can't do it every week. We beat LSU and expended so much energy we couldn't beat Florida. We're getting there, baby steps, can't turn it around overnight. If Brooks keeps us on the right track and we continue to improve, we'll be in these BCS bowls before you know it. For now, enjoy the ride.

Mark May shut him up and told Holtz that Andre Woodson wasn't in the game tonight and OSU's quarterback couldn't measure up to Woodson, they weren't going to win it unless they could pass and OSU can't pass it like Kentucky does. Nothing like getting a little love from the analysts in a game we're not even playing in.

Very close on the score! I hope college footbal can come up with someone better than Ohio State next season to play against an SEC team in the championship game. I'm little tired of seeing OSU getting blown out every season.

Too, I had remembered that Michael's brother had played for Ohio Sate and had been hoping that the announcers would mention Kentucky's Michael Hartline. Well, they did mention the two brothers' probably jawing in comparing the Big 10 and the SEC, but FAILED to making the story a little better (and even to non-biased non-UK fans, I would think) by adding that Michael's team had ALREADY beaten Ohio State's opponent. I had just thought that next step was logical and had been disappointed that it had not been shared.

Regardless, yes, our Cats BEAT THE NATIONAL CHAMPS! :) :) :)
