How does everyone feel about University of Georgia President Michael Adams sending a proposal to the NCAA for an 8 team college football playoff? Like a plane on a treadmill, could this get off the ground?

I like it, but I don't think it'll fly.

It's a start to a playoff system. The presidents of the universities are going to have to give full approval in order for a playoff to happen. This is a good start to that.

I will argue to my dying day AGAINST a playoff.

I really like UGA. I like them because they are an SEC team. And a girl I was dating is a UGA grad. But few teams in America have less of a claim to the NC than UGA. I don't care how well the Dawgs are playing right now. They could not even win their division, let alone their conference. I don't care how many variables combined to prevent that from happening. I don't care that if UT does not block Seiber's FG UGA may have been in the NC game. All I know is they did not win the SEC East, so don't even talk to me about being left out of the NC game.

naaaah....it will take almost every pres of the major teams to agree on this, and I don't see that happening.
