There's always Vandy to turnaround the season

Great win for the cats today! THey played hard for 50 minutes. Ive been hoping for something to 'click' with this team much like in the 03 game, against none other than vandy. Lets hope today was the day.

I as thinking about that game after today's game. Vanderbilt was coming off a big win over Alabama, and one of their players made the statement before playing Kentucky, "We had to bring our A game to beat Alabama. We won't have to to beat Kentucky." Vanderbilt got out to a big lead early, but Kentucky came back with a half court trap and won by a good margin, 74-52 in Nashville. Kentucky wasn't through getting revenge for the insult, though. When Vanderbilt came to Rupp a couple of months later, Kentucky had one of those games where it could do no wrong, on a night when Vanderbilt could do nothing right. The final score, with Kentucky's bench getting lots of PT: Kentucky 106 - Vanderbilt 44.

I beleive that was the '03 game. You could just see something click in the 2nd half of that game that lasted 26 games.
