You KNOW the boys are not going to mind the tough practices these next few days as much as they have in the past. Going through hell and NOT seeing the winning results is a bit different than going through hell and taking down an undefeated team that you had lost 4 in a row to.
Tough practices start making sense in the guy's heads, and the results speak for themselves. I bet the next practice will be intense.... from the PLAYERS side.
Work hard boys! We love to see you strut!

I agree, but the players are saying that the coach letting up on the gameday practices is what has helped them the most. I am all about tough practices just not on gameday.

I'm gonna have to second the "excellent post" comment.
This may be the post of the day. I bet there was a crowd of players at the door who couldn't wait to get to practice today.
Stay hungry, boys!

Patterson said. "Everybody's starting to believe in Coach and his ways and tactics. We had a great mindset coming in this time."
Aha!
And yes... I have been one of the ones screaming for lighter practices the day of the game... BUT I am all for the guys being forced to go harder than they think they can go every other day!
