I don't know how unusual that is these days. At least one of this past season's fb players (Tamme) is married.

You don't think it is unusual? These days it is unusual for 25 year olds to be married much less 20 year old college kids who play major college sports.

Porter is a tough, mature kid who has probably helped this program more than we know so far. Not the most talented, but a solid tough kid.

You and I sure don't run in the same circles. I know many people that are married and have children by the time they're 25.

Statistically, Leroy is right. . . People are waiting longer to get married, although in Kentucky, we probably buck the trend.

Indeed. It's certainly unusual to the extent that the number of teams that have at least one married player are well in the majority.

I'd bet there's likely more unwed parent-players than there are married players with no children.

I always appreciate Michael Porter's effort on the court. But I must say I was frustrated watching him get so many minutes in the early games, while he was being a Turnover Machine. Yes, I understand the injuries limited the options.

Steve Johnson is married with a daughter if I remember correctly. In most cases, its better to rough it out another year or two until he makes it pro and then he can really take care of them. In Stevies case its only another 6 months
