He has a knee sprain and is listed as day to day. Sprains usually take several weeks to heal properly(my sprains have taken several months) so Jasper may not be on the court this coming week. Hopefully, he will be able to suit up soon. He is one tough kid and hopefully his career will not be like Padgett's of Louisville.

I agree...Jasper's knee might never be right again.....I hope it is for his sake..I would hate to see him go thru what Padgett has gone thru....his career might end in a few months

He changes our team in so many ways. Hope he takes his time and makes sure he is healed up. We need him but not at the risk of reinjury.

Get better Jasper we need you!!

I say we shut him down for the year to prevent anymore damage to his knee and bring him back at full strength next year. As much as I want to believe that this year is not a wash is probally is so better to have him next year when we might have a shot at being a better team???

IMO we should let people qualified to make such decisions, make them

I dont know if you have ever played sports, but sometimes the the people qualified to make those decisions are influenced by alot of people to give their ok on a player. Im not saying this is happening here, but Jasper after every game he has played in so far this year could barley walk afterwards. He had a surgery that puts guys out normally a year. Regardless of what anyone says I feel he has been rushed back.

Its a very mild sprain. He's day to day and will be fine.

If it were Rick Pitino he'd say that Jasper is out indefinately.

Sticeman, some of our posters didn't spend 8 years in evil medical school to be called "Mister", than you very much.

They are "Doctors" in every sense of the word. You must trust their judgement. I have learned to.

He's okay.

Lecter, you have MADE MY DAY! As happy as I had been about the victory, my concern for Derrick somewhat dampered my happiness. In fact, I had continued to worry about him since Saturday afternoon. Again, thanks! :) GO CATS! GO DERRICK!
