There have been rumors out there that Dave Odom may be coaching his last season. If this is the case, I see a motivated and talented South Carolina team to win for Odom, win to make it to the big dance, win to avenge the two previous losses, and win to hava a chance at their first SEC championship.

The keys to the game is defense and rebounding. South Carolina out rebounded UK in the first game with a 31-25 edge. Morris was in foul trouble and Day scored 18. Kentucky must contain the quick guards-Kinsey and Kelly, and if UK stops their penetration, UK will win the ball game. Kinsey scored 21 points each game and Kelly averaged 12 against us.In the second game, UK out rebounded USC 35-29. This was a key factor.

Kentucky has contained Balkman very well in the two match ups. Kentucky must continue to frustrate Balkman and keep him off the boards.

Sparks will get some open looks-he scored 14 the first game followed up with 26 the last game. Morris scored 12 the first but only had 3 rebounds. He followed that up with 13 points and 11 boards. Perry averaged 12 points and Crawford has averaged 14.

I hope to see Rondo out on Kinsey frustrating him and Morris must stay out of foul trouble. Sparks needs to continue his solid improvement on d and UK always does well when he knocks a few threes down. Perry has played solid against USC-they seem to let him have the 10-12 foot open jumper and continue his play on the glass.Crawford needs to quietly score his 12-15 points.UK's bench needs to continue to play solid. Woo can match South Carolinas quickness better than Alleyne in my opinion. I see Woo getting some big rebounds.

The CATS are close to having a big game. Lets see if they can jump out early instead of clawing back.

Good luck CATS!
