With this loss I think our seeding will be somewhere around a 9.

Any other predictions?

I agree. an 8 or 9-which doesn't matter.

We'll be a 7. At worst, an 8. That is assuming that there aren't a ton of screwy things happening for the rest of today and tomarrow.

I think we will be an 8 seeded against #9 Indiana. Let's send Mike Davis out in Kentucky fashion!!!

Im thinking 8 is going to be the highest we could possibly get.. anything above is frankly undeserved even though its hard to say that.

We will not play IU. Committee steers away fromteams you played earlier in year. Syracuse, NC State, Wisconsin are possibilities.

They will fix it where we will play a team that has a losing record first game and Duke in the next game.

I'm guessin an 8 as well...if we had won today it would have been a 7 seed...and we could have gotten a 2 seed if we advanced to the 2nd round....

Yeah, I can probably see us getting an eight or nine seed.

If South Carolina wins tomorrow, does that knock Arkansas or Bama out???

I do believe it wil. I just can't see the SEC getting seven teams in. FL, TENN, LSU are definites. UK, BAMA, and ARKANSAS are the next tier. I believe ARKANSAS is in based on how they have played the past two weeks. I believe UK would be in based on the UT and BAMA wins, so that would leave BAMA on the outside looking in.

However, I don't forsee USC handling either FL or LSU, so I believe BAMA is safe. But you never know.

I think a nine seed is what we will end up with 8 at the highest. We have a RPI of 33 (before today's loss) so that is in the ballpark if you go by that.

I believe we will have an 8 or 9 seed. I don't see any higher than an 8 seed at the most.

Yeah. The committee usually tries something cute (ala Eastern Kentucky last year, though that may have had to do more with regional situations than anything else, but still, it was annoying) each year.
