In this world of me-me-me basketball, it’s been refreshing over the past few weeks to watch three high school stars who don’t seem to concerned about their scoring averages.

Darius Miller (near right) of Mason County and DeAndre Liggins (below left) of Findlay Prep (Nev.) have signed with Kentucky. Jon Hood (far right), a junior at Madisonville, has a scholarship offer from the Cats. All are physically similar — 6-foot-6 or 6-foot-7 — slender, athletic, with high basketball IQs, and unselfish, team-first attitudes.

Yeah, I like all the guys we are looking at. Good article on Hood. I hope he pulls the trigger and lands at KY.

The only recruit I haven't liked so far of all BCG's is Leonard Washington. Just his attitude, but his game is good.

I think if you want a good idea of what BCG's ideal team would look like, go back and watch (or try to remember) how the last Illinois team that made the National Championship played as a team. As I recall, they were tabbed by the media and coaches as the best passing team in the country.

Those guys were awesome, I would love to see a team like that at Kentucky!

I certainly hope that is indeed what we see in future years, Coldstream. I LOVE good passing teams, and we have not seen that, frankly, at UK the past few seasons. GO CATS! GO COACH G!
