I think we beat the best the SEC has to offer. The optimist in me says it is still a long season and we can get that #2 seed in the east (if Vandy continues to falter a bit, hold our own and hope Florida staggers). You never know.

If we can play like that every game there is no reason we shouldnt win the sec east this year

Boys if meeks and jasper were healthy all season we would be in the top 25 period. But having said that if your granny had .... she would be your grandaddy. Billy was delt a tough hand but is turning it into a winning hand before our eyes. All you rats that jumped ship when she started taking on water DONT climb back on board. I remember ricky p. saying his first day at kentucky. "if you cant root for us know dont root for us when we get it turned around"......... "I would rather die poor as a uk fan then live wealthy as a fan of any other team"...me

When BCG first was introduced as coach and I saw how choaked up he was with excitement I believed it was going to be a speacial relationship between him and UK. Nothing and I mean nothing has changed for me. The players played an exellent game and he coached an exellent game.

All I can say is,"How about them Cats!" Without a doubt their best game of the year, and they did it with key players either injured or in foul trouble.

Maybe, just maybe, some of the faithful will start giving this team and Coach Gillispie a little more love.

I cannot stand to lose to two teams in the SEC. We beat the big ugly orange and if we play like we did tonight we will take down Donovan and CO in LEX Town later. Definitely makes me happy. Go Big Blue and I love this new coach.

yeah, granted Kentucky is just bigger than any one coach or player, BUT(!) when Coach G was introduced at Memorial Colisseum and was nearly moved to tears at becoming the next UK coach it showed from the get-go that he "gets it!", he understands that Kentucky IS kentucky, it's the real deal...mediocre, good, good enough just won't get it....this is the MAIN STAGE and that's just fine with him....he's up for the challenge and ready to face it head on....

and let me tell you - all the naysayers and doubters can just put their order in for mustard, ketchup, mayo or gray poupon to have with their crow that they will be consuming when this thing gets back at the top!!!!!!!!!!

GO CATS!!!!!
