OK, I know Tennessee was "only" ranked 3rd in the polls, but they were #1 in the RPI. So I think we can claim a win over the #1 team in the nation. A great win for the Wildcats! Go Big Blue!!!!!!!!

I'll be very interested to see the latest RPI after this game.

This win should move us up several places.

If worst (or close to it) beats first, then it doesn't say much for the RPI. But this was a great win for UK. We are definitely "born again HARD."

The RPI doesn't know that we have a couple of injured players back.

Hopefully some of our prospects will look at this as a great sign to come to UK. Hopefully John Wall and some others were watching. This is where we are headed. Wins like this are something we've been missing for a long time. I could get used to this.

I'm not sure if this is "official" but we moved up to 147...i think we were about 180 before the game (not positive about that).

UT stays number 1...

We won't ever know what the offical RPI is. The NCAA keeps it secret. However, the formula they use is available, and several individuals/groups use it to figure what the RPI is. There will be differences, but I think they come pretty close. I checked two different uoffical RPIs last night. One had Kentucky at 179, the other only listed the top 100. Both, however, had Tennessee at number 1.
