I know it's early and you've got a strong unit this year...but, behold, the days that you've been waiting for,for years, is upon you...and you lost the first game! Not only that...you sat there and grinned in moments where your team was outshined by a team that you felt less superior to yours! You thought it was just a laugher for you...WRONG! You ran into a team that, depsite it's record, has the heart of a LION! Look, OrangeMan, this is the best it gets for you...and it still ain't enough!

I don't know what your press conference holds but I am sure you entered from an unknown door just for effect! Blaahhhh!!!

I am tired of hearing about Lofton and the reasons he should be at UK....the reasons he should be at UK are obvious to everyone...he's a great player. But it's sure nice to know that his beloved Vols are as good as they are going to get against a UK team that everyone knows will once again rule the SEC!

Kudos to a UK squad that could have put their head down after tow losses on the road...and then came back and kicked the #5 team in the country's butt tonight! Rock on, CATS!!!!!!

This win was even more impressive because UT is truly a top 5 team. They have all the weapons and they are extremely well coached. I got to know Pearl when he was in Evansville, In at USI and watched him build an NC team there.

This was not a paper team like UF brought in here several years ago and got thumped. David beat Goliath once again tonight.

This UT team is very good, and they are certainly better than that UF team, but they are several notches below the best two or three teams in the country IMO. They may end up in the Final Four, and anytime you have the kind of wing depth that they have it's possible, but they can be had in the post big-time -- as we showed tonight. They absolutely cannot guard down there.

Still, a huge, huge win.

Yeah....but alot of those doubters are UK fans and have spent so much energy on how bad we were. A game like this hopefully gives some hope that things ARE headed in the right direction and that even though we beat a quality team, it doesn't mean we are back where we belong and that we cut down nets this year. It was a huge accomplishment for THIS season, one that hopefully we can build on.

Pearl's teams are notorious for flaming out early in the tourney. It's hard to sustain all the 3 point shooting for 5 games. (Like last night) They have 0 post presence

Agreed. Down the stretch they took some horrible shots WAY too early with lots of time on the shot clock. They're good, but...they can be had.

It will be the same story as last year.

They virtually have the same team with a little more experience. Tyler Smith is the same type of player they already have 4 of.

He won't be the difference.
