Okay, I had planned it.
I'm a terrible, awful person. You all knew that.
I had it planned.
I was going to post about the 'basketball school' thing. How it had damaged our ability to beat Tennessee.
I was going to talk about how they had given up the 'football school' thing. I was going to say they were kicking out butt in everything now because of it. I was going to talk about how much I hate that. I was going to talk about how evil they were - how they deserved hell. I was going to talk about my hatred of them - I hope they lose in everything. If it hurts them more to lose in football then good - I'm happy that they lost. That means in EVERYTHING - from debate team to football. From architecture to curing cancer even. None of that has changed.
But yet, still... I beg you please... we can be proud of the basketball program. We can love it. Can we ALL agree that it feels good to beat them no matter the venue? Can we get rid of the basketball moniker and say that UK is a university that wins ALL competitions against UTK? That competition makes us better no matter the venue?
I hope they feel the same way. I hope they feel that they need to beat us in more than architecture and cure cancer before us. It makes us all better!
