If you've run across UK-friendly sports bars/connections while traveling, hope you'll share that information here.

Never visited these places, but read that they're possibilities in the DC area. Your  or :thumbdn: review of them and knowledge of whether or not alum-organized events are open to the public would be appreciated.

I visited Grevey's while in Falls Church several years ago to watch a game. They had a special room (area) reserved with a BIG SCREEN TV for UK games. As with sports bars, there were many smaller tvs for individual or small group watching. Food was good and prices okay. Definitely a :thumbup: for watching Cats play.

Thanks, Chaz. As time permits, I'll contact UK alumni chapters to ask about venues for local game watch parties and whether their events are open to non-alums. UK fans are everywhere, and hopefully we'll end up with a pretty good list, so check back often for updates.

If you are in the Denver/Boulder area get in touch with ColoradoWildcat or me and the rest will take care of itself.

If you're ever in Clymer, NY area (Why you would be, I wouldn't know. And don't ask.), visit the French Creek Tavern. The owner is a UK grad & has UK banners hanging. It's a hangout for snowmobile riders. When there's snow, can have 300 machines in the lot.
Interestingly, he has a 10 x 10 shack out back that's a separate NY State Liquor Store. It's not a walk-in store though. Have to go into tavern & get soemone to come out & open it to sell you the liquor.

Terry, I should have called you last week. Our "direct" flight from Cancun to St. Louis somehow got us stuck in Denver for several hours. I think seeing a fellow wildcat would have made our detour a little better.

Northern California UK Alums meet here, but they frequently have visitors come watch the games with them, and they extended an invitation to us. There are game watch parties at Zeke's for all of the basketball games and most of the football games. I enjoyed chatting with these alums via email, and learned that they have the link to WCN listed on their website.

If you are in Catlanta, check out these sites where the alumni are meeting. You don't have to be an alumni member to watch the games!
