Coach G was in attendance today at the All "A" Classic as University Heights took home the crown. According to Jody Demling, Billy was there to watch Hopson, and his younger teammate Tyshwan Edmondson. In my opinion this is really good news, we need a player who can immediately help out Meeks and Patterson next year in the scoring department. As for the Edmondson kid, I don't know too much about him, anyone have some further information?

I would say that Coach is actually recruiting Edmonson.
Heaven knows, I could be way wrong, but I think the Hopson recruitment is gone and over.

I agree I don't think Hopson was the target. Several people have said that Edmonson is just as good as Hopson and doesn't think of himself ahead of his team as Hopson does.

Edmonson is good. He is not in the same category as Hopson. Hopson is considered one of the top 10 players in the country at his position. And, rightfully so.

Different type question. I notice U. heights is going really far in the all a classic very often. Do they recruit players like some of the larger schools? Its just odd that a supposedly small school wins that much. I remember in the 80s they were there when my home town school went.
