I leave tomorrow morning for Costa Rica. I have never been there but will give you a full report.
The good news is that is All Inclusive, the bad news is that it is very difficult to find bourbon. What will I ever do?:icon_mrgreen::cool::beer:

Make a point to get away from the resort and meet the people of Costa Rica. Be smart, friendly and approachable. You'll be rewarded with great character, food and scenery.

I have been there once, on business, and had to stay in San Jose. I do remember the food being excellent, and the people being very friendly. Have a great time.

Great place to vacation. Widely varying scenery & wildlife in a small area - like WV size. Definitely plan to go back.
