There's still 6:01 left in this game but win or lose, Louisville is playing some great basketball here in the 2nd half!

UL played a great 2nd half. Defense was awesome.

GTown is good, but their weaknesses are obvious. Not a good shooting team from the outside and loves to play slow. Get a lead on them like the Cards did and they are toast. That will be their downfall in March. Teams like Kansas and Memphis force their will upon you. GTown can't keep up with those. Still a good team. I like their chances against UL in the BE tourney up north.

Basketball season is a lot more fun when the local teams are playing better.

Georgetown is a very good team. Their guard play will keep them from being a championship team though. Put them in the SEC this year and they would look a lot better.

I ddin't get to watch any, but I really didn't like the white out that they showed. Why not red?

Congrats on beating The Hoyas. Tough team. Seems like the UL kids are starting to play together.

Congratulations Cards. Good game to beat a good team.
Was that the 'good' Pitino versus the 'evil' Pitino?

IMO we are just behind the likes of Kansas, Memphis, and MAYBE UNC although even they look very vulnerable at times. Tennessee is very one demisional as is G-town. SHut down the 3 and UT is toast. Shut down Hibbert and G-town is toast. We are playing like a top 10 team right now.

I don't think you can put UL up there with Duke, Kansas, Memphis just yet. They have to show more consistency and be tougher on the road. Great win, but I wouldn't declare them final four bound just yet.

The same Duke that lost to Pitt and only beat Marquette by 4? They don't belong. I'd take Duke over UCLA, Memphis, or Kansas any day.

Teams improve. The Duke I saw beat N Carolina on their home floor is waaaay better than UL. And Marquette sucks!

That is exactly what I was telling the guy I was watching the game with when UL was down at half. I said those 8 points will be erased real quick in the second half. All you have to do is double Hibbert and you win against G-Town. Just like you mentioned UK beat UT because they got them away from the three point line. Although I thoughly disagree with you being just behind KU, Memphis, and UNC. They are all much much better than UL.

UL had a great win, played with fantastic defense and energy in the 2nd half and IMO, if they can keep that up, they can play with anybody. The problem with Louisville is just consistency, until they demonstrate that I wouldn't be looking at the Final Four just yet, although I wouldn't count it out either.
