I kind of doubt it. It stands to reason that with his older siblings always being involved in sports that he got a lot less attention from family and friends. I am sure he was jealous as a young kid. I would be too. Getting the lime light for myself for a change would feel pretty darn good. :)

Last summer I was questioning the same thing about P Patterson though. Look how he turned out.

I agree. I'm sure he's just happy to be stepping out of his siblings' shadows. To be known as Wesley Witherspoon instead of so-and-so's little brother.
