I don't think you take a kid at all cost no matter how much you need him. I am not saying that Hopson is a bad kid, I have no idea, but BCG is not recruiting for some reason and it doesn't appear to be talent.

Ive never seen the kid play but if Patterson Crawford Bradley and Meeks couldnt score more than they did I doubt Hopson would have helped all that much

Right now, I'd swap a committment from SH for a point guard and a
center/power forward any day of the week.

If SH is available and willing, you take him. He is a 5 star talent.

We still need a quick, good ball handling PG in 08. We don't have one.

Right on. This team is missing quick on quick as much as its missing a bookend for 2 Pat. But there is room for a KY 5 star scorer so you take him.

It's taken years for Kentucky to produce this caliber of talent again. We simply can NOT let these guys get away from us. Especially if he ends up wearing orange.

Just a quick head's up to all UK fans:
no matter what the news about coach contacting the Hopson family, don't let your hopes get too high.
If SH matures up to his talent level, he will be one great college player.
His coach says his attitude is great.
From what I've heard, his grades are fine.
I do not think he will go to Kentucky.

His ability to play high level college basketball and dominate. However the issues with him are signs that point to another Alex Legion situation all over again. Hopefully I am wrong but the signs are what they are at this point.
