I just said Wahoo to be dumb..
I agree however....WHY

1) Madison Square Gardens
2) 15 of the 16 Big East teams have been to a final four
3) 7 Big East Schools have won at least one NCAA basketball championship
4) Ul,Syracuse Uconn,Pitt,Cincy,Georgetown,Marquette,must I go on?
5) Basketball is the heart of the conference, not an afterthought
6) Every road game is a test, not even USF is a gimme

At what point are you going to give me some tangable evidence for them being awesome this year?

They are one of if not the most overrated conference in the country! UL is probably the best team they have to offer which is sad since they are so up and down it is crazy. Gtown is a joke all you have to do is shut down Hibbert and they are going to lose. Cincy, Marquette, Uconn, and Pitt yea those are good reasons for you to be a great conference.

During your 5 game win streak, when you guys were playing like an "NCAA tourney team", you played: Tenn, South Carolina, Georgia, Auburn and Alabama, thats 4 teams not in the top 100! You dont get a break like that in the Big East. The 16 team conference has a TOTAL of 4 outside the top 100. Our conference schedule calls for 7 teams in the top 25, and i believe yours calls for just 4. The Big East is the best conference in college basketball, there is nothing overrated about it.

Marquette keeps hanging out in the top 25 even though they have a ridiculous number of losses for a top 25 team.

When's the last time Georgetown won a game? And come this afternoon they will probably still be in the top 10. What a joke.

Pitt started out the season with promise, but got blown out by Marquette a few days ago.

Right now UL and UCONN are the only teams that look good. That's not much depth.

I just was pointing out that your schedule isn't as hard as you try to make it out to be. Marquette is a freakin joke there is now way they are a top 25 team. Gtown is not as good as their ranking would lend either.

You are right though The Big East is deeper with good-decent teams but that doesn't make them the best conference in the nation.

Well I guess that now we know that you and Pitinolover are one and the same person. Thanks for clearing that up.

I never said UL's schdule wasn't that hard. In fact was wasn't even talking about UL until you brought it up. I was talking about the Big East. Then you said that teams in the Big East don't get breaks like they do in the SEC (pointing out our 5 game win streak). So I pointed out in fact they do since UL got a similar streak of games against teams in the 100's.

UL plays a tough conference schedule if they played anyone out of conference your SOS would be higher. I am just of the opinion that the Big East is vastly overrated. Not that there aren't good teams in it because their are but I don't think they are as good as they are made out to be. UL is the best all around team in the conference without a doubt. If they can get consistent then they can make a run. I don't think all the way but they will get past the second round this year.

Yea they are quality because the majority of them beat you so that makes them quality. Come on man BYU and Dayton are not that good. Purdue is better than all three of them. North Carolina was not scheduled by you. That is like saying we scheduled Memphis. Unless you play them they are not on your schedule.

What is funny? There is nothing that I saw today that would lead me to think anyother way than what I already stated. Marquette got away with one today against a UK team missing two of its best players and having two other players with serious foul trouble.

You have a choice to make after that game today either Marquette is overrated or UK is underrated because UK had every chance to beat a team that has been in the top 25 for most of the season and probably should have beaten them.

Wait I will make the choice for you they are crazy overrated because UK is not that good. UK almost beat them with really two players and that was it. No moral victory for me I hate this loss but I can tell you that Marquette didn't look like a top 25 team to me today and they haven't anyother time this year.

We lost to them because we were without Patrick Patterson pure and simple it isn't hard to figure out. We had two guys scoring and still had a chance in the end if we had one more inside guy to fend for some more rebounds and points we UK would have won that game.

I didn't expect a win. I did not get upest. That is something that Tubby taught me.

I can feel it coming back. I cried with Crawford. I'm damn proud of this team. The way they started the year, I didn't even expect the NCAA's.

With the adversity that this team had to go thru this year. Meeks, Patteson, Jasper injuries. Porter playing thru a dislocated shoulder. New coach.

I'll take it. I'm damn proud to be a Wildcat fan.

Yea and UT beat Memphis so does that make UT the number one team. It doesn't matter you can't compare teams like that. UK beat LSU in football and LSU won the national title does that make UK a national title contender.

UK was without Patterson and Meeks both of who they had against UT the first time the only reason we beat them the first time was we kept Lofton from killing us. The second time UT got caught off guard they hadn't seen us without Patterson and Billy did a good job of throwing some wrinkles in there to confuse UT. Not to mention you had all of the emotion that the team was playing with after everyone saying their season was over without Patterson they wanted to come out and prove them wrong so they came out playing crazy defense.

If want to argue that UT isn't a top ten team then I agree with you but I do think they are top 15 maybe top 10 on their good nights. But there is NO way that Marquette is a top ten team. By the way if you watched the game the final score did not indicate how close that game was. UK was down three with less than a minute to go and threw it away so they had to start fouling. That is why they beat us by more than UT.

Just wanted to come on here and give the Big East some props for knocking out the little cry-baby dookies. (I've never bashed the big east btw, it is obviously a very strong basketball conference)

It gives all on here GREAT JOY to see the dookies go down lol, it's one of the more enjoyable moments of the year for me to see the dookies eliminated from the NCAA Tournament and see their sad little faces lol.
