Scout or Rivals

Thinking about joining a recruiting site, which one do you guys think I would like the best or gives the best info,updated frequently,more inside info etc? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I like rivals better. It seems to be updated a lot more often than scout is.

I'm not a member of either (nor do I feel as though I should)...but as far as free stuff, rivals by a margin....

Rivals is normally reporting things weeks to months before Scout does. It is a much more in depth site with interviews with the recruits frequently.

I prefer Rivals myself. They also provide Gameday analysis and articles on the teams (both Football/Basketball). If you pay the annual membership, you get free breaking news alerts on text alerts and game updates in case you don't get TV or radio coverage.

Both of their premium boards will give you rumors that never pan out before you hear them on any free board. Any actual news will appear on free boards as soon as it appears on either's premium board. Scout's premium board has posts about a prep school point guard and a high-scoring 6'7" juco that UK supposedly is in good with whose names have not yet appeared on WCN. If either of them sign with UK, you heard about them there weeks before you ever saw their names here. If they don't, you paid good money to get wind of an unfounded rumor.
