University Heights Academy senior standout Scotty Hopson is one of the top unsigned high school basketball prospects in the country. Now, he's a McDonald's All-American.
Hopson was named to participate in the McDonald's All-American team and the rosters were officially released this evening. The 6-foot-6 Hopson was the only Kentuckian on the roster.
University of Louisville signee Samardo Samuels of Newark (N.J.) St. Benedict's and U of L target Tyreke Evans were also named to play in the game, which will be held March 26 in the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisc.

FoxSports.com writer Jeff Goodman is reporting (LINK (http://community.foxsports.com/blogs/goodmanonfox/2008/02/19/EBANKS_TAKEN_OFF_MCDONALDS_GAME)) that legendary high school coach Morgan Wooten used his veto power to keep Indiana signee Devin Ebanks - a fifth-year player - out of the game.
So no Indiana signee made it and the two UK signees - Darius Miller and Deandre Liggins - were also left off the roster.
