One of the most surreal experiences ever.
I thought there'd be a prep period. You go in, get the questions, give some possible responses...
No. Uh-uh. You walk in, someone shouts "10 seconds!" and you're on. Bam. I never got hte chance to ask, "Should I look at the people or the camera?"
The WHAS went a little bit better than the Fox, but upon Tivo-viewing I don't think I embarrassed myself too much.

Hmmm, not really sure how to do that. I know the folks at Fox 41 (http://www.fox41.com/) said it would be up on their website, but I don't know if it's there yet.

Could you attach a copy of the book to this site?

The entire book? I couldn't even get a copy of the book to do that unless I bought it as an eBook first and then transferred it here, but even if I could get my hands on the book it would be illegal to post it here. Same as putting a copy of a movie on the site or something like that.
If by "copy" you mean cover, the book image is in my avatar.

Just picked up the book! My fiance played a little prank on me. She began to read the back cover about you and at the end she added, "Will is also an avid fan of the UK basketball team and frequently posts on wildcatnation.net."
She totally got me.

Here's an elevator pitch I give: "It's the Michael Douglas film The Game set on a college campus."

I was making a failed attempt at humor. Sorry.

Thanks, tauzreborn.
I thought about trying to get some kind of UK reference on there...but I thought the fact that the book was blue and white was good enough. :icon_mrgreen:

I was making a failed attempt at humor. Sorry.
In your defense, it's been a long day on my end.
Yet I couldn't complain when the woman at the morning show told me she got up at 4:00 am every morning.

She is also handsomely compensated for it. Plus she can quit if she wants to at any time.

If anyone is interested, you can read a sample chapter from the book on Barnes and Noble's website.
Which, by the way, Will, makes me want to get a copy for myself even more.

Is it in ALL Borders or Barns n Nobles in KY? I live in Northern Kentucky and will go pick it up. I just finished Snow Crash (I recommend everyone reads that AFTER they read Will's book) and need a new book to read.
Great job Will that is a TREMENDOUS accomplishment. When they decide to make a movie about it you should have Wildcat Rick play the college professor!

It should be, yes.
And I will be at the Joseph-Beth in Cincinnati on March 4th at 7:00 PM for all you Northerners. Come on out.
(Loved Snow Crash, BTW.)

Wow, congratulations, Will! I'll pick up a copy as soon as I finish my current literary endeavor, King's "Blaze".
Again, congrats.
