What a dump!! I wonder what Tub thinks about having to bring a chair up on the floor and looking down, while he kneels, at his team?

I wonder what Donna is thinking? I bet she says everyday- "Honey, why the heck didn't you take a job in Florida?" as it was -8 there last night.

There's already been some tension at UM, because Tubby immediately wanted to upgrade their facilities to help with recruiting. Tubby got some critical press from the city, and alumni over it. Besides the tradition they haven't been able to fill it up until a few games recently. Tubby has since backed off of publicly criticizing the Barn, or talking about needing new facilities. The articles that I've read about the situation blames Tubby's faux pas on the fact that he's use to having the best of everything at UK.

I appreciate Tubby and I was supported him completely while he was here, but he HAD to know what a trade-off he was getting. The pressure is much less at Minnesota but as far as facilities, He had to know he was exchanging the penthouse for a suite at the Residence Inn.

It probably wasn't a good idea for him to bring up the facilities right away. Win some, move up in the big 10 a little, then bring it up in a few years.
