:icon_lol: I bet Jack enjoyed the "screening process". Regardless of the outcome, I look forward to spring break to talk to him and get his take. I cannot imagine what it will be like for him tomorrow. I guess for about 2 hours, he might not be a UK fan :icon_mrgreen: I know I would hate to be in that position.

John is one of my favorite players of all time. This isn't about talent. This is about affection. I was glad UK went another direction when the coaching position opened up. It would kill me to see things written about him by either the press or the fans as are being written about coach, or were written about Smith. I hope that things will work out where he can coach at UK some day.
But after his ovation tomorrow, he's a hog. :icon_mrgreen:

Same here UKBOO. I've said several times to people that I wouldn't "wish this job upon anybody", and I sincerely mean that. You have to be of special breed, and if you make it, you're king. If you don't, then....

I'm glad at least one fan can understand my perspective. I got hammered over that one during the search.. :icon_rolleyes:

I'll be there (if my dad is not sick) and I will give him the one of the best standing ovations.

Matt, as I posted yesterday, I will be standing and cheering loudly for John Pelphrey WHEN he's introduced. Then, of course, it will be all for our Cats. :icon_biggrin: Yes, he definitely deserves that standing ovation from us Cat fans. :) GO CATS! BEAT ARKANSAS!
