There are plenty of uncertainties from one game to the next for the Kentucky Wildcats, but there’s always one common thread in all of their games.
And that is the Wildcats are going to make every game interesting.
After building a 16-point lead early in the first half, the Wildcats watched as the Georgia Bulldogs clawed their way back to within three on three occasions, but Kentucky held on in another nailbiter, this time a 61-55 victory Tuesday night at Rupp Arena.
Since they entered Southeastern Conference play, the Wildcats have had margin of victories of 6, 6, 8, 5, 3, 10, 4 and now 6. This Kentucky team isn’t for the faint of heart. Just when they look to have things in hand, the opponent comes back. Or vice versa.
“No, I’m not surprised,” Kentucky guard Ramel Bradley said when asked about Georgia coming back to make things interesting. “When we went up, we weren’t mentally tough enough to put them away. But you have give credit to them. They have a lot of fight.”
Why would Bradley or anyone in Big Blue Nation be shocked by this?
