We should be careful with our last couple of offers for next year. There is likely going to be some kids that are going to be let go from their LOI's because of coaching changes. Of course you take Hopson if he will come, but with the coaching changes at LSU, IU, and I think maybe a couple more in the SEC there could possibly be some top talent to be had and I would hate to be sitting on a kid that we took out of desparation. We should take out chances and hold out because even if we get no one, I think that we will be fine with the big men we currently have and we get one more scholly to go toward 2009. All this is assuming we free up at least one more scholly this year and that seems to be very likely.

What would be really sweet is if we landed Hopson and Appleton, found a way to open one scholarship (which I don't think will be a problem), and got a kid like J'Mison Morgan. :icon_mrgreen:

OK, DREAM scenerio...but IF we get Hopson and Morgan to go along with Miller and Liggins...uhhhhh can you say #1 recruiting class and arguably one of the best classes in the history of college basketball!!! Ok, someone pinch me.

Morgan actually could become a strong possibility IF they don't retain the interim coach, since he's the one that recruited Morgan.

Appleton, probably a KU sign.

Hopson, a lot of ground to make up BUT there's a reason why he hasn't inked at UT yet.

I think we will have 3, maybe 4 more(after Liggins and Miller) open scholarships to give. Gillispie needs to get what he can. It starts with Hopson and should spread to a quality PG and big guy.

Scotty Hopson, Ater Majok, and Kevin Galloway would fit in perfectly for next year's team. That's who I would like to see sign with the Big Blue. Of course that's assuming, Morgan or others are not released from LOIs.
