Yes, I've thought about it and I would take him in a second! He is a solid basketball player.

If I remember correctly, we might have flirted with him in the early stages of his recruitment. In addition, am I making things up, or did he have a disciplinary issue arise earlier in the year? I am not trying to say, "no, I don't want the guy," rather, I am just trying to recall facts.

He was suspended a few games, I recall. I think it might have been for the standard "violation of team rules" and the exact circumstances were never made known. I'm not 100% sure though.
But I don't think Jordan could be that bad a kid though. He was raised by the same parents who raised Joe.

With Joe's initial aspirations to leave, you wonder what advice he would give to his brother. I think his opinion has clearly changed, but I don't think it was the mistique of UK that brought him back; I always thought that when he learned of the extensive penalty associated with leaving duing your first year (loss of one year of eligibility), he got cold feet.

That, and I think he figured out that it was a way too rash decision. He was a freshman adjusting to coming off the bench after he had been "the man" all through high school. If it was just about the penalties then I think we would have seen him sulk through the rest of that season and transfer out afterwards. The penalties are what kept him from transferring initially, but actually having the time to adjust to his situation is ultimately what kept him here for 4 years.
With Jordan its a different situation. He's not going to get the coach he signed on to play for, which is a lot of times a big deal breaker. I think the best advice that could be given to him is to consider all his options before making a decision to stay or transfer.
