I have a new nickname for the CATS this year - Heart Attack Cats! I swear everytime I watch or listen to them I am going to go into cardiac arrest!

But I love 'em anyway!

Go Blue! Go Billy G.!

I've been thinking this team needs a nickname for some time now. They just keep grinding away (Vandy game not included!). Before you know it we're going to look up and see ourselves in the NCAA tourney!

Well let's see -we've had
The Fab Five :icon_biggrin:
The Unforgettables :icon_biggrin:
The Comeback Cats :icon_biggrin:
Team Turmoil 1 and 2 :icon_sad::icon_sad:

Have we had the Cardiac Cats? :shrug1:

How about the BlueBloods - cause the only way you could play with the heart that these kids do is if your heart beats nothing but pure UK blue. ;)

Hey - that's good! The Cardiac Cats sounds much better than my Heart Attack Cats. I like it! (as long as they are winning!)

Cardiac Cats (http://kentucky.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=777988)
by Matt May
The final chapter of Kentucky's season has yet to be written but you can be sure there will be a thick chunk of the book dedicated to toughness and heart. The Cats displayed both in abundance yet again, grinding out a physical 63-58 victory over Arkansas in Rupp Arena. The win ...

Oh - I don't get the Cat's Pause so I didn't realize they were using Cardiac Cats.

"UnBreakables" would get my vote then - works especially with all the injuries they have had and just keep coming back up strong.

I was going to mention Crawford's article. Alley Cats has my vote.

"The Unbreakables" sounds like those eggs you pour from a carton.

the season not over yet so i don't know if i can make a final vote...
but so far i'd go either -
'cardiac cat's' both for the heart they show and the cessation of fan heart function each endgame seems to bring.
-or-
'the unbreakables' - if all ends well
