These guys left it all on the floor today didn't they? Defense was unbelievable and they battled for every darn rebound and loose ball. This team willed themselves to this win!!!

Bradley and Crawford score 23 of the last 31 pts!

Whole team was tough today! They just want it more when it comes down to the end! Very poised!

Toughest UK team I've seen since the Suffocats. What this group gives up in talent they take back in grit. They absolutely will not back down when the game gets to winning time.

Gotta give it up to the seniors here as well. Two of the toughest, fiercest competitors I've had the pleasure of watching. They do not play pretty basketball, but by gosh they are not afraid to dig down when we need them most.

What a game. What a win. What a TEAM.

Well-said, Will. CJ columnist Eric Crawford called them "Alley Cats" today. I liked it! Too, they are pure GRIT, as you note. Further, the seniors do indeed so "dig down" when they are in danger of losing a game. How I appreciate those two young men's efforts!

Too, GREAT thread, Tbird. That was indeed TOUGHNESS, and that toughness has been instilled in our players by our head coach. Our outrebounding the much taller Hogs by FIFTEEN boards, including limiting them to only three offensive rebounds, was essentially "the game," as Coach Gillispie said after the game.

Coach was so proud of the Cats! Evidently, so are we fans! :) GO CATS! BEAT OLE MISS!

I really wish the best for John at Arkansas but am so, so glad to see Billy getting somewhere in his first season here. Yes, these guys are proving to be very tough both physically but more so mentally.

For the few that were wanting one of Kentucky's own to coach here, now, and replace Billy. Now we know. John is and will be a good coach but Billy is a great fit for UK.

 Composure and determination, whether in the midst of difficulties or success is something I believe they've maintained in conference play overall. That's why I like this team so much. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to the seniors...and I'm so glad Coach G accepted this position. I think he helped bring out the best in them, and what a great thing to have done. But I don't mean to take anything away from them...although Coach started it, they own it. They've made me even more proud to be a UK fan.
