Unfortunately we have no one who can score. We're going to have to look for some jumpshots earlier in the shot clock. Patterson not being down there is allowing UT to cheat, and every shot in the paint is contested. (And we have guys trying to score who aren't scorers.)

I'd like to see a couple of looks early in our offensive sets to see if we can get a couple of long ones to fall.

Harris made a great cut on that last play, but instead Joe ends up in a tough situation and gets called for the charge. They just missed Harris.

It looks as if BCG is taking a chance here and hoping for poor three point shooting from the vols. So far it is working...they have had multiple open looks that didn't fall. UT is one and done on offense and we were able to milk the clock and hit some shots.

Agree about Jasper. He can get what he wants going to the basket (as can Harris -- their perimeter defense is suspect at best). If he can get down there and put in a few shots, we might be able to stay in this one.

Hope you're right. The first 5 of the second half are crucial. We'll face their starters then, and probably take the best lick they can give us.

The fluidity they exuded on both offense and defense with their starters in, as well as maybe their 6th and 7th men, was nothing short of pretty for today's game.

It disappeared when they had to bring in the aforementioned three guys.

Now, due to Pearl's apparent confidence, we have tasted blood and will not back down. I look for us to make it a 10 point game, hopefully. But who knows, if we get hot, anything could happen.
