This game probably went a long way to actually securing our place in the tourney. You can bet a lot of people were tuned in on Sunday Afternoon on national TV. Everyone probably expected to see KY fold and get slautered after losing PPat this week. Instead they saw one of the best CAT performances in years and a team that truly displated the heart, desire and talent to compete with anyone in the country.

Now we just have to go out and not disappoint. We have to win our last 2 conference games and at least one in the SEC tourney.

If I remember correctly, it was mentioned during the broadcast that members of the tournament selection committee were in attendance. Did I hear that right? If so, what a huge game for so many different reasons.

If I didn't know any better I'd think the Tennessee fans appreciated UK's effort too and breathed a huge collective sigh of relief after the buzzer sounded.

I didn't hear that, but if that was the case, its even a greater statement for our cause.

I heard it. The old fool that called Ramon "Smith" said it.

What this game showed the committee is that Kentucky is still viable for a bid in spite of the loss of P^2.

But UK must beat the ***** Wednesday, and the Gators on Senior Day. This will prove that the record of 8-2 over the last 10 games is truly representative of the kind of team Kentucky is right now. It will also earn UK the first-round bye as SEC-E-2. That, with a 12-4 conference record, earns a bid.
