After today, you have to say that the Cats are still in the hunt for the NCAA. They have shown the committee today that they are a very good team, even without Patrick Patterson, so Patterson's absence should not come into play in the committee's decision. If it does, it's just a plain travesty by the committee.

Beat USC and the Gaturds and I think we are in.

I still think we need to win the next 2 and get to the championship game in the SECT to have a shot.

Regardless of the gutsy effort today, it was unfortunately, still a loss. And we have ZERO quality road wins this year.

It can be done, but it will take more than just close losses to good teams to get us in, IMO.

I just hope the boys don't suffer a hangover after this.

I agree with Larry. Since the committee is made up of people instead of computers that look at pure numbers. I think if we win out the season we are in even if we have an early SEC Tourney exit.

That maybe true, but if the Cats end up second in the SEC East, with no home losses in the conference, then getting left out would be negligence on the committee's part. Right now, I think we are sitting in a better position than either Arkansas or Florida. Florida just lost at home for their second home loss and they still have Tennessee at home and UK on the road. Arkansas has to go to Ole Miss on Tuesday.

I think win out in the regular season and one in the tournament and it's done.

Extremely difficult to discount our record in the SEC. Even with our early eason travails. One win, probably in. Two wins to finish, a lock.

We had great force of will by the KY players today. Back against the wall, go for the Championship. It will probably be gone next game. Harder to pick the players up. Getting them up for this game was easy.

I think the next couple games are really going to be G's toughest test.

It's going to be extremely difficult to win Wednesday night in Columbia. It's their senior night and it will be Odum's last home game too. If those players really like Odum, they will give an effort like our Cats gave today. Also you have to wonder how much emotionally UK has in the tank? They are still in the hunt but it ain't going to be easy.

Extremely tough. Another loss there and we will HAVE to win the SECT, IMO.

After the way we played today, I think if we win Wednesday we're a lock.

Wednesday might be the toughest road game all year, with the exception of Vandy and today, If we win that, it's certainly a leg up.
