The title was an attempt at a bad joke. Here is the article.
Guy kills a protected species by hitting it with a golf ball...this is crazy.

According to court records cited by the Orlando Sentinel, Isenhauer hit a number of shots, once hitting a tree trunk. The paper reported that on Isenhour's 10th swing, the ball hit the bird.
"I didn't think I would hit it," Isenhour said, according to court records.
:icon_confused:
How many attempts was he going to continue to take at "not hitting it"?

Thats about as stupid and uncalled for as the incident with the UK Professor.
Doesn't come close to this incident with Randy Johnson ---

But Randy's was purely an accident.
Sorta reminds me of my father-in-law and his buddies playing golf in Florida at their condo years ago. A large crane was sitting in the fairway. My fathe-in-law didn't expect he'd hit the bird, as it was 150 yards or so from the tee - essentially assuming he'd easily clear it with a drive of at least 250.
He ends up hitting a worm-burner. It travels about 160 yards, skipping along the ground twice at good speed, hitting the bird in the neck and killing it.

This guy can hit a bird with a shot and only finished 135th in the FedEx Cup standings? Damn. How good are the guys who finished ahead of him?

Who knew golf was so hazardous to birds.
And Randy Johnsons pitch that killed the bird was CRAZY.
"Heres the wind up, and the pitch.." ...POOF!!
