Any of the WCNation seeing any of the white stuff? I live east of Nashville, nothing yet here. 4"-6" starting around 7pm getting heavy by 10pm is the forecast. I will be shocked if it really happens.
Maybe I will start a conspiracy theory: The US Guberment is using weather to "goose" the economy! Stores around here are packed with people.

We are blanketed with it here in Louisville. They're saying some places could have a foot of snow by the time it's over.

We got about 3-4 inches today, but are suppose to get much more tonight. Because of this, I am staying home from work and devoting my time to my family and the WCN! Plus, I really didn't want to de-ice all those aircraft tonight at work. It's a dirty, boring job that de-ice anyways:icon_lol:

A few inches right now in Marion, will probably be up to 6-8" by some point tomorrow. SPARE US, ALREADY!!!! We've had two ice storms and now this in the past month.
I tell ya what, though, I'll take a foot of snow ANY DAY over ANY amount of ice. That first ice storm we had was brutal. It'll be well into the summer, if then, when the county gets cleaned up. No power for 3+ days, too. Ugh.

Several inches here already... they are predicting 6ish but it looks to me like we may have about that much already and it is supposed to keep on snowing all night! I was supposed to drive up to Indy tomorrow but I am guessing I am going to have to call that little road trip off! Ugh!

We got alot of rain today. That's it.
I just got home from work, and the wife's car is iced over.
Stopped at Wal Mart, and I don't know if people around here just don't care what the weather people are saying or what, but it was dead at Walmart. (got out under 60 bucks)

I spent about two hours working on the tractor last night. Rewired the headlights, inflated the tires, charged the battery, etc., getting it ready if need be. Of course the snow blade is out in the barn, so I may have to dig that door out by hand.
We had thundersnow about 11 last night. That is always bizarre.

Just measured ours at between 9-10" with a couple more expected. And I think a bit melted yesterday afternoon. So in round numbers, we'll be at a foot.

I just got off the tractor. 1100 feet of driveway is always interesting when it snows ;)
I've got 3 inches everywhere and over 5 in some places. Forecast is for more snow until about Noon. This would have been so neat for the holidays, but this late in the year sucks!

around 3", our brethern to the west of Nashville around 6"-9". I love the beauty if snow so my dream vacation is to get out in the deep wilderness (say Alaska) in a cabin and get snowed in with plenty of food, a fire place and a couple of novels (Obedience) for about 2 weeks. I guess I would like to have a pretty lady with me....... but silence is the key to this vacation so that is probably not a good idea! LOL

Ditto that. When it stopped around lunch i shoveled the driveway, they scraped our neighborhood, and LaGrange Rd was clear. Pulled out of the garage like it was any other day.

Ended up with around 14 inches here is what they are reporting. And Ohio has a salt shortage, so roads are still an absolute mess. It is supposed to warm up a little so hopefully all this melts off.
