Why are you trying to stare down Stevenson?
Stevenson is eating your team for lunch right now! Oh by the way, Vanilla Ice thinks your haircut is bad.

Let's review the list:

1. Teddy Dupay
2. David Lee (real math wiz)
3. Matt Walsh (#1 Gaytor :tongue3:)
4. Brett Nelson
5. Matt Bonner
6. Joakim Noah (#1 Clown of All Time)
7. Nick Calathes (complete PUNK)

Didn't you guys love it when Jasper cracked him on that layup attempt? Screw you Calathes! We should hammer him everytime he gets within 2 feet of the basket...put in Coury, let him get 5 fouls and let Calathes get 5 bruises....

I saw all the pushing, shoving, and stare-downs he did. However, it was kinda wrong for Bradley to walk right through their huddle. He reminds me of Hansbrough, he can bang and shove all he wants, but if anyone touches him, he acts like a big baby.

Yep....can't stand Calathes....

unless he transfers to UK. I'd love to have that kid on our team. Attitude,
fearless, agressive, good shooter, great passer,
and hates to lose no matter what.

He's gonna be a thorn in our sides for three more years, unless he gets stupid and goes to the draft.

Wish you'd gone someplace else Nick. Hey, since you're a natural point guard and Lucas is, too, how 'bout THINKING about that transfer to Lexington?

If Calathes played for us, he'd be one of the most popular UK players of all time. Magloire was 100x the jerk Calthes is and we lauded him for his "toughness" and "agression" while the rest of SEC saw him as "dirty".

Ramel did try and push his way right through their huddle though, brilliant. He got in Calathes head near the end of the game.
At the end of the game he was on his butt in the corner and the Cats won!

i think i disagree a tad with this....i don't think Coach G would tolerate snotty playground crybaby attitudes....or the attitude that we're all seeing him portray....

i don't know if anybody else caught this or not, but in a game earlier in the season mark coury got a bad call and was complaining to the ref, pouting a little bit and they panned to Coach G and you could tell he said "shut your mouth" and sort of gave him a "you got me?" look afterwards....i didn't see calathes do this, but coach G won't take pouty snotty behavior....

there's intensity and toughness and then there's just pouting because you're playing an away game and not able to get away with what you get away with at home...

besides he's already ruint from wearing that Gators jersey - haha - i wouldn't want him at UK under any circumstances!

calathes is a punk pure and simple. he lost my respect before he even played college ball when he said that he'd follow donovan to UK. like he'd automatically get a scholly offer. oh and then he proceeded to barrel over Ramel during a dead ball in the o'dome. oh and he looks like a hair gel dip wad with hick teeth. and then he tries to act all bad when he's down 9 in Rupp ? how could you not hate the guy ????

I think the deal with his hair is that he is going bald. Seriously....my wife's son had kind of the same hairdo at that age because he was going bald. He finally said the hell with it and shaved his head. If you look at Calathes head closely, you can really see his scalp. I wouldn't be surprised if 2-3 years down the road we see him with a shaved noggin.

Bradley walked through the huddle, but at that point in the game the Gators were talking all kinds of trash like the sore losers they are. (And I don't think "baby" is a term I'd use for Ramel or Hansbrough. Ramel is about the hardest worker I've ever seen at UK and I'm pretty sure Hansbrough could break everybody on this message board in half.)

I can't stand the Gators. I think they're a bunch of punks, and the only difference between this year and last year is that this group has a lot less talent. You can't afford to talk trash when the scoreboard is rarely on your side. Actually you can, but you always end up looking like a fool -- as Calathes did on that play.

Donovan has ALWAYS recruited kids who are essentially prep school thugs. That's what happens when you recruit the suburbs: you get kid who play with a perpetual, undeserved chip on their shoulder. Another reason I'm glad we got Gillispie.

I would not want any punk messing up our team's good chemistry, no matter how much of a "great passer" he is. I would not sacrifice character for point production.

We have players now that work damn hard, take actual responsibility for their own mistakes and, oh yeah, are 12-4 in the SEC, a mark wonder boy and his team are far from.

So Florida can keep Calathes, and I'll be looking forward to our next 6+ victories against them....

Duke used to have the market cornered on the white kids with good jump shots whose normal facial expression just made you want to see someone punch them in the nose (see McRoberts, Redick, Randolph, Dunleavy, Wojciechowski, Collins, Parks, Laettner, Hurley, et al). Donovan has certainly been gaining on him in that department.

I think Calathes looks like the kid in 4th grade who would flick your ear, give you a wet willie, or do something else to annoy you on the playground, then run away in the vicinity of the teacher and laugh at you while saying, "You can't do nothing 'cause Teacher's watching now!"

And when I say he looks like he's in 4th grade, that may be a bit of an exaggeration. To be fair, he does look more like he's in 6th or 7th grade. Seriously, is he wearing braces in that picture? And his buddy Parsons also looks like a 6'8" seventh grader.

I didn't mean Ramel was a baby, I meant Calathes was. Why would I bash a UK player? I think Calathes and Hansbourgh are cut from the same cloth. They both are good players, but they can't handle when someone steps up and shoves them around.
