It's over.

It's finally over.

2 years of anguish has now been relieved.

What a performance, what determination, what a Coach, what Seniors. Harris and Stevenson were huge.

No matter what happens the rest of the way this year, this team has cemented themselves in our hearts. They play with the heart of a Champion.

The future looks unbelievably bright.

What a feeling!

Can I have "Second Happiest", or is that already taken? :icon_lol:

I'm not going down that road but 9-7 seasons aren't UK basketball and the former coach did the nonorable thing and resigned, he was tired and ready to move on.

Let's move "forward".

Man I agree. What a great day!

I am so happy we won this game. I am so sick of UF fans talking about the streak and how they are SEC basketball. It would only be icing on the cake if we get into the tourney and they don't.

LOL...I know you wanted this one bad.

You have extreme (sport) hate for all things UF. :icon_mrgreen:

Still celebrating the win and just picked up Will's novel. Not a bad days work!

I love how everyone talks about moving on from our previous coach but continuously takes shots at him. Thanks for bringing in Joe and Ramel Tubby. And thanks for making their senior year a memorable one Billy

We went 9-7 in the SEC the past 2 seasons and this year we're beating ranked opponents, snapping losing streaks against Vandy and Florida and we're now going 12-4 with 2 great players out.

That's not taking a shot, that's just noting our obvious improvement. Look, we all want to do better than 9-7 in the SEC and we're happy. I haven't mentioned the "T" word.

While I agree... The point is to be able to get past the old regime then lets just drop it. If people would just stop bringing them up whether good or bad then it would be a lot easier to move "forward".

I think we alreaddy HAVE moved forward. IMO we did so today beating 2 time NCAA champion in a game they had to have. The Billy Gilespie Era has begun in earnest.

Wait about two years and It'll be lights out! Imagine what BCG will do with top tier talent across the board and depth. If this guy isn't SEC COY, they should stop giving out the award!

I totally agree about coach being COY. I can't help but wander what BCG could have done with everyone healthy this year. It is absolutly amazing we won this many games with all the injuries we had.

Oh man, Bruce Pearl would poop out a big ole orange pearl if BCG gets it. Which would make me the happiest man on earth.

For someone who aspires to move ahead, quotes like this seem a bit unproductive and ironic. :shrug1:
