It would be nice to meet Miss. State on friday and beat them.

It's good to see TN & V in opposite bracket.

To me, other than winning the conference, this is the best case scenario as far as the brackets are concerned. I like our chances.

I am pretty happy to be getting an extra day of rest and not playing in the first round this year.

I like our draw here. Wouldn't be suprised if UGA upset Ole Miss. I also wouldn't be suprised if we ended up playing Florida on our side of the bracket , if we win the first game. I think UT wins the other side of bracket rather easily.

Tennessee and Vandy will be a big battle imo. Vandy has struggled of late but thats one team I don't believe that anybody wants to play. Tennessee probably wins this game but it will be a great game.
I think UK plays Florida again as well.

I would say we couldn't picked a better layout if we tried. Go Cats!!!

I agree. Assuming things go as expected, we should be playing Tennessee in the Chanpionship game. We beat them the first time, and played them to the last second shot in the second game (on thier home court) ... So we should have a good shot at beating them on a neutral court.
And to help things even more, after playing LSU on Friday, and Vandy on Saturday in what will most likely be a really tough game, they could be a bit tired and give us a real opportunity.
Wouldn't that be unreal, after a 6-7 non conference schedule, we actually have a chance (and a real possibility) of winning the SEC tournament!

Believe me, I know that ANYTHING can happen, but I'd say we're playing on Sunday. Great draw.

Lets just take it one game at a time. Ole Miss/Ga is up first.
Even tho we got robbed when we played Miss State. I really don't want to see us play them without 2 Pat.

Catlanta will be rockin in BLUE baby.
I say we are hanging a new banner. This will elevate us to either a 6 or 7 seed in the NCAA's.

I agree! And if we're playing on Sunday, win or lose that means we have a 20-win season to bring with us to the Big Dance!!
GO CATS!!!

I love this bracket for a variety of reasons. Mainly, it gives us, IMO, the best possible route to Sunday.
And secondly (er, selfishly :icon_biggrin:), it gives me the chance to drive down there Saturday morning and get there in time to watch us beat whoever. Playing at 1:00 would have made that MUCH more difficult.
