Along with everything else that happened with this victory, the Wildcats victory ended the season of the back-back defending national champions with a loss and put them perilously close to NOT even being extended an invitation to the big dance.

Florida plays Bama in the first round of the SEC Tournament. If Gottfried would get sick and not show up for the game, I would give the Tide a good chance against the Gators. If Riley is hot from the outside and Hendrix gets going down low, this game could be very interesting.
