ahhhh, Bozich and Pitino reminiscing about the good ole days at UK. You can tell he still wishes he was back in Camelot. Too bad, Billy G gets to have those days now.

Yeah...lmao! Billy G hasn't even sniffed a Final Four while Pitino has taken three different schools to one. Get a grip.

when you have to use your most hated rival's accomplishments as smack!
UK made Rick Pitino and he knows it!! Billy G will get to a final four before Boston Rick does!!!

Do you think before you post? Rick accomplished more already than Billy G will ever do.
If UK made Pitino, how come UK has not done anything since he left?

I never said Billy G has accomplished more than Rick Pitino has to date. Show me where I said that? I just find it amazing that Pitino is always talking about his accomplishments at UK. That would bug the crap out of me if I was a UL fan. Most of Pitino's accomplishments were at UK, and yet, UL fans treat it like it's their accomplishment. Isn't that ironic (or moronic). Billy G (SEC co-coach of the year) has the drive, desire, work ethic to get us on a run much like Pitino did in the mid 90's while at UK. But at UL (in his 7th season) he hasn't even won a conference title. Like I said, UK made Pitino and you got Boston Rick. I know it hurts, but step away from the red kool-aid and think about it!!

You are funny. When had UK won a championship before Rick and when have they won one since? You are still mad at him because he left "camelot" for the NBA and then came back to Kentucky, but to the better part because he couldn't stand fans like you. He's much more comfortable at UofL than he ever was at UK.
Billy G has shown me nothing. He has won games in an incredibly soft conference, but had a losing record non conference. Oh yeah, and in case you forgot, Rick slapped Billy g's team around in their own house and that was without one of his better players. I know it hurts you, but let the infatuation go.

Rick might have been run out of town had he not won this year against UK (playing without Meeks and a hurt Jasper) since you brought that up! And Rick is the one pining for his days at UK not vice versa. That is why he surrounds himself with everything UK (Massiello, McCarty, team doctors, the priest, best friends) I love our new coach!! He is the perfect fit! It still eats away at you bird brains that in the first year after a coaching change (see UL football 6-6, no bowl in a sucky conference) we will STILL make the big dance. If this is a bad season (which everyone seems to imply) WOW!! what do you think a GREAT season will be like for us!! It's right around the corner!

I think this is probably the best Billy Clyde can do. You are UK. The self proclaimed best program in the nation, yet you are all giddy because you might go to the NCAA's. My how times have changed. There was a time (when Pitino was there) that going to the tournament was a given, now you are just glad to be going.

No, we are happy to be headed in the right direction after the stable was left empty by our last national championship coach. The way this season started , to be making the Big Dance, is a HUGE accomplishment. Something your coach couldn't do twice in 7 seasons. Even programs like N. Carolina, Arizona, UConn , have had a blip on the screen every now and again. Under Matt Doherty, the tar heels didn't make the big dance in the early 2000's. UConn didn't make it last year and Arizona probably won't make it this year. But Kentucky is Kentucky and we will be there.

Actually, we were a preseason top 25.........20 in the AP poll, I believe.
Thus, not completely unexpected we'd be going to the tourney again.

Pitino lead the Cardinals to Conference championships in 2005, regular season and tournament, and the 2003 conference tournament. LINK (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisville_Cardinals_Conference_Championships_by_Y ear) And UK made Pitino? LMMFAO!! Did UK make Sutton? Did UK make Tubby? Well, they did make Sutton Drink and cheat, and they did make Tubby leave. Wonder why Ricky left Lexington? I'm sure the crazy fans had nothing to do with it.:icon_lol: Think about it.

Meeks and Jasper played 31 minutes each. Here's the boxscore in case you forgot. We are just better than you.

Well, in this case, my Daddy IS better than you Daddy.
All UofL has to do in the BE tournament is play (more than likely) Pitt who was ranked most of the year, in the first round. Then, all we'll have to do is beat #14 Notre Dame or #25 Marquette. Then, all we'd have to do is beat #15 UConn or #9 Georgetown.
UK on the other hand, will have to play unranked Georgia or Mississippi. Then, play unranked Miss St., Alabama or Florida. Then, in the Championship game, play either #18 ranked Vandy or #4 ranked UT.
Now you tell me, who has the harder road to the conference championship?

Why don't you call the tournament committee and just tell them you want to play a 1 seed in the first round, a 2 seed in the second, etc.?
You really do get your jollies off on conference standings.

All I know, is that Mr. Pitino has enough money that he could do whatever he wanted, where ever he wanted. And he chose to live in Louisville and coach the Louisville Cardinals. And you can't hardly stand it!!:icon_lol:

Lately? Really? Lately we've been climbing the polls and have been on a 9 game winning streak, but no one has been suspended lately.

That brings up an interesting thought. If Rick has to head to the clinic again, and after tonight who knows. Who would be the interim coach?
Massielo--The UK human victory cigar at the helm at UL
Walter McCarty--Love Walter, but no experience at all.
Better yet, Ricky Jr.!!
