Is that anything like ESPN? You know ESPN, they're the network televising every Big East tournament game.

Raycom is just regional isn't it? Doesn't that mean that only Kentucky and some states with teams in the SEC will see it? Not like ESPN that covers the entire country. Hey, at least you've got 84WHAS, so maybe some people in Ohio can listen to the UK games.

The Big Boys play on National TV.

3-8 Nortre Dame played every came on NBC but that didn't make them a National Champion. You point is moot.

Thats because there is a large audience that wants to see Notre Dame. Not me, but ESPN knows people want to see good basketball. Not a football conference with only two ranked basketball schools.

Obviously, I will not be able to influence your opion but it wouldn't matter if the Big Least had 16 teams ranked or if none of them were over .500. The contract is signed because of money. It doesn't hurt that logisticly most of the teams are located a day trip from ESPN HQ.

Raycom is regional. But hey, we get to see every game. Not sure about their quality yet.

ESPN, well, I'm about fed up with ESPN. I couldn't tell you the last time I watched sportscenter. It's pretty much all about Lebron James, the Yankees, Duke, North Carolina, NFL and Baseball.

I just think ESPN is too political. They only seem to care about the ACC. The Big East is second. I don't watch much highlight shows. I'll catch it on the web. Or maybe AM radio.

That's not NBC TBCF. That would be WAVE3 an NBC affiliate. Just because you are watching the Cats on NBC, doesn't mean everyone in the country is. They're probably watching Dr. Phil.

Raycom syndicates the SEC tourney this year and WAVE TV is broadcasting it locally, not NBC.

We have something in common with the ACC now since Raycom syndicates the ACC AND SEC tourneys.

Hmm. . . the last two national champs and five titles since 1994. Not bad for a "football conference".

Or maybe its the closest big time conference tournament to the ESPN headquarters?

UL fans working for their pimp. I saw N. Arizona and San Diego on espn this week. You can also watch poker and bowling. Not that great to be on ESPN. I'll take the programing that is devoted strictly to SEC sports.

We play on Raycom because the SEC has a contract. What do you want us to do, boycott? We aren't chomping at the bit to sell our soul to ESPN, unlike you guys, so I can see how your misdirected attempt to get a weak jab in at us seems logical to you.

The only reason a uavel fan would start a thread like this is we respond to it. Leave it alone, and when 4 grows up we won't have this problem.
