You just lost to an 14-16 Georgia team. Maybe even screwed yourselves on the NCAA tournament.

No excuses 4. We don't make excuses, and neither does our coach and team. Could have pulled it out had a foul been called on the inbounds play, but it never should have gotten to that point. Just couldn't make quite enough defensive plays.

Poor rebounding and cold shooting did them in. It's really tough when Bradley or Crawford isn't hitting shots, this team has zero room for error right now w/o Patterson. I'm sure you can see that.

It was a game that the Cats prob. should have one, but you can't win 'em all.

Honestly, if the Cats aren't a 10 or 11 seed I will be TOTALLY shocked.

UK lost one it should have won!! Not too disappointed with all the adversity this team has had to face this season. Without Meeks and Patterson and taking the UK crowd out, I wasn't surprised. Ky got the raw end of this deal!
Ga got the extra rest it didn't earn and 20,000 Cats fans were left out in the cold. What else will this team have to face this season? I guess we will wait and see!
p.s I received some info today that has me lickin my chops for next season!!!

The difference is we lost to a team in the top 20 in the RPI, and you lost to one not in the top 100.

Totally Shocked? You are #60 in the RPI. Since 2000 only 4 teams have gotten in with an RPI of 60 or higher (The horrible standford team last year was one of them). In Rick's first year our RPI was #61... I think Gillispie my follow in his footsteps to the NIT.

It wouldn't surprise me if UK takes credit for Minnesota beating Indiana, since Tubby was coach at Kentucky last season. The facts are that Billy Clyde has never beaten UofL, since taking over the struggling Kentucky program. I am cool with that I have seen them play and we match up fairly. I do think they are vastly overrated and I think the second round if we get there is a winnable game as well.

One thing going for UK is that Marquette doesn't have much of an interior game. That's why UofL beat them soundly twice.

I thought UK would get in. The Marquette matchup is good for you all, but the Standford matchup i think is extremely tough.

I thought all along that UK would get in. You are right the Marquette match is a toss up and the standford one definately favors them with the Lopez brothers inside (if we make it there). But I think that UK can win that game. Of course if they do it will be like playing with the houses money. But really we couldn't have asked for a better first round match up or second for that matter. Standford isn't crazy good or athletic.
