I don't have any today. All of theupsets I picked for the first round were yesterday. I am kind of regretting this now. I missed Montana and Wich.St. yesterday which put me in first in my $5 bracket... I think I may crash and burn today because the Mid-Majors have come PLAY! I love it!
Who are your Day 2 First Round upset picks today?

I think Southern Illinois might knock off West Virginia.
WVU sort of staggered into the tournament, and SIU is on an uptick.

This is the one that I wish I had "penciled" in my initial drafts. I really hope to see some of this game today. WVU can be deadly... it should be a good game.
I am also a littleworried about Bradley over Kansas... I have Kansas.

I don't have any on my picks which means the day will be full of upsets.:DProbably the best chances of upsets are So Ill. over WVU nad Northern Iowa over Georgetown. Both of those Big East teams have faded down the stretch and could make an early exit. I am personally hoping for Albany over UConn but doubt that will happen.:ggrin:

:thumbup Thats the only one I have down for today. Normally, I pick teams that run and run some more for the upsets, but SIU's deliberate pace is going to give WVU fits.

I agree with S. Illinois, and a Wisconsin win would only be an upset by seeding.

I have NC State beating California for no other reason than I think NC State is due a good game.
I also have Northern Iowa beating Georgetown just so I'll have an upset that nobody else has. :)

Speaking of upsets, what about Albany over UCONN?
Just kidding, of course. But I did hear Albany's coach on Fox Sports Radio the other night and he claims that Albany has "the best player in the tournament that nobody has ever heard of." This guy is a 5'8" guard who got 30 two years ago against the Syracuse team that won the national championship.
That Bradley/KU game stood out to me. But since it stood out to everybody else too, Kansas will probably blow 'em out. :)

OTOH, I have Kansas going to the Final Four, so given my prediction history they'll probably get beat today.
I just think KU is scary good. I thought so when we played them, and they've just gotten better in the second half of the season. Aside from UCONN, they might be the most talented team in this tournament.

I, too, have Kansas going to the Final Four. I sure hope they don't get upset.
I still like Bradley.
