Rafer Alston street legend and Rondo are pushing and fighting on TNT in the Celtics/Rockets game

I missed him and Rondo going at it. Also, just a reminder that Chuck is playing too

Looks like the win streak is over but I'm glad to see Chuck have an event like that this year as I don't see them going to far in the playoffs without Yao

I think it was a prime example of a veteran player trying to intimidate a younger player.I applaude Rondo for standing his ground.

Something else I've noticed about Rajon...he's developed a pretty nice jumper!

I was sad to see the streak end. I'm a Cavaliers fan, but I root for the Rockets against everyone else because of Chuck.

Rajon > Skip To My Lou.
To almost everyone's surprise but a few Cat fans, Rondo has turned into a premier point guard this season. And I don't want to hear that garbage about 'anybody could play point guard on that team.' If anything, a solid point guard is essential to their success. Rondo is putting up excellent numbers and proving himself to be a great leader on a great team.

I have only heard good things and praises form the NBA broadcasts and ESPN about Rondo and his game development this year.
Also, If you didn't see his 360 dunk the other day, does anyone remember him finishing at the basket so well at UK. He still can't get up like Kelenna Azubuike but I have not seen many who can.

I still don't understand why they added Sam Cassell.
Why?
Eddie House does a good job backing up Rondo.Come playoff time, i would hate to see Rondo's minutes get cut for Cassell.

They brought Sam in for the playoff exp. he has. He led the Timberwolves to their only playoff series with KG and single handedly took the Clippers a year or two ago. He has already stated that Rondo is the starting point guard and that he does not want that job. He has also played with Ray Allen in the past so there's a set chemistry in place for him to step in in playoff situations to give Rondo a break.

They are preparing Cassell for the playoffs. He may not start but will be in there at crunch time. Especially if they're behind in the 4th qtr.

It was obvious that the agressor was Alston and putting his elbow twice in Rajon's throat.

I didn't like it either, but Rajon did get in a stance with his fists clinched (don't blame him). I guess that made it a little easier. I'm also glad to see him taking up for himself and showing that he won't take crap from wiley veterans who think they can get away with that on him. He's got the God-given athleticism to be truly great, and the supporting cast should definitely be able to tutor him to a point where can utilize all his talent. Keep working on that shot, and keep making us proud Rajon.
Also, just wanted to again point out the class he showed by coming to Senior Day with the framed jerseys.

Two elbows like that and it's on and we're scrapping on the court, locker room and parking lot.

Did you all see the Rajon Rondo Mix - Point Guard of the future below the screen of the Rajon - Lucy Lou scuffle? Just watch the link that Matt Colvin provided and look below at the other clips and run your cursor across them until you find it... pretty cool

Best part about that video was Mutombo talking (and grinning) to Rondo near the end. As if anyone can understand what Mutombo is saying! That's hilarious.
Rondo is playing like the Lottery Pick talent he truly was.

And you'd have been thrown out of the game, just like Rafer Alston wanted. Alston was trying to get in Rondo's head...kudos to Rajon for keeping his composure.

Exactly. Too, I am one of those not at all surprised "few Cat fans" .
Speaking of "Skip," I just now had to "reprimand" :icon_mrgreen: Mr. Poodoo for skipping around to other channels during commercials, as we missed more than a commercial. We missed that happening!
I watch most Celtic games and many Houston games. Rondo has been something else to watch, besides how important his leadership and contributions are to the team. In regard to Chuck, how I love how he does the little things, especially how he still sets those screens. It was hard because I did not want either team to lose, but then the game was not close, so no problem. :) GO RONDO! GO HAYES!
