Thankfully, we've only had about an inch of rain or less in Bullitt County.

Not so good in So Indiana, however. 5+ inches in several counties along the river and north.

Here close to INDY it has been raining to no end.

To quote Missy "Misdemeanor" Elliot...."I..I can't stand the rain..."

With the drought conditions we had last year, all I can say is be careful what you wish for! This time last year I was catching fish. I haven't left the house this year yet:icon_frown:

I will be watching basketball for 4 days starting in the morning.

Rain, snow, sleet, hail, I'm watching basketball.

Only thing that can stop me is a tornado.

Please don't say that. We had enough of that last week. Don't forget that we are playing in California. Can you say earthquake?

Or a Tsunami, or a Tropical Storm, or a meteor...

The way this season has gone, you never know.

River Rd at 3rd Street was closed this morning. No warning until you got to the bottom of the ramp and could see the barricades. Don't understand why a sign wasn't posted before you committed to the right lane on the ramp. I have to be downtown by 7:30. The main rush hour will see this ramp backed way up. Hopefully folks will get the clue and start getting in the left lane early.

Odd that they didn't have a sign at the ramp off of I-64. Seems it would have been posted on the Trimarc sign as well.

I assume they figured folks would know it would be under water with all the news is my guess.

When I worked downtown over a decade ago, that was my primary route as well.

I made an effort to not be in la-la land on my auto pilot trip in this morning so I could watch for warnings/closings. I'll know better tomorrow. Will get off at 9th Street!
