My 8-9 seed games aren't going well.

Couple of blow outs starting to shape up. Arizona and Iowa are up big early. Davidson giving OSU all they want, tied at 20 and Bucknell leads Arkansas by three.
Wisc needs to get their collective butts in gear:(

Wisconsin just plain didn't show up today. Why did I pick them!

Aransas was red hot in the first game of the tournament but couldn't hit anything against Florida.
Looks like they're picking up where they left off in Nashville: they're c-o-l-d COLD.
Playing good enough defense, though, to stay in the game. The Hogs've blown Bucknell back on their heels with their athleticism and quickness.

This Bucknell/Arkansas game is hard-fought. Ugly, but hard-fought.
Speaking of defense, Bucknell can play some.

And is that Davidson beating Ohio State at the half?

But Arizona pretty much sucked this season, too. ;)
I think the whole Wisconsin fan base should be put on suicide watch after this game.

Yesterday was the Big East's washout (0 for 3). Is today the Big Ten's?
Hope Arkansas and UK can keep the SEC string going!!!!!!!!!!!

Ronnie Brewer with a thunderous backwards dunk off a lob!

Wisconsin is back within 12 of Arizona at the half, down from a 21 point deficit earlier in the half.

Davidson still leading by four early in the 2nd half. Looks like they are in it for the long haul. Could this be the first real shocker of the tournament?

Looks to me like OSU is starting to wrest control of it, even though they're down by a point.
We'll see.
I'm pulling for Davidson.

Looks like you are right. OSU up 7 with 10 to play. Sounded like an all OSU crowd in Dayton that will help them out a lot.

Arkansas needs to straighten up fast before Bucknell bucks them out of the dance. Not good!

This Bucknell/Arkansas game is an absolute war.
Very fun to watch.

Arkansas sure has been inconsistent ..... spectacular play and then bone-head play. Not sure they can get past Bucknell with that inconsistency.

They've got to hit a couple of threes down the stretch.
Bucknell is scoring most of their points off of threes; Arkansas can't hit anything out there.
The Bisons have gone 3 for 2 on most possessions in the last 7:00.
Wildcat Larry
03-17-2006, 02:06 PM
Hitting a FT or two might help, too.

It's Eric Bettencourt versus the Arkansas Razorbacks!

Why wouldn't you guard that guy? Poor, poor defense.
Or looking at the replay, poor, poor refereeing.

The Hogs miss 3 of 4 free throws?
What's going on?

8for 15 freethrows. Argh!

GO HOGS!
Will Lavender

Arkansas doesn't deserve to win this game based on their performance at the free throw line.
Bucknell has tried desperately to give them the lead for the last 5:00, but the Hogs have refused to take it.

I just don't understand why you play four feet off three point shooters. Bad execution. You got some big guys back there erase your errors if somebody gets by.

Lay this on at Heath's feet. What the heck was he saving the TO for? Dumb coaching.
Will Lavender

Arkansas got hacked under the basket...
...no call.
Bucknell needs to hit a free throw and they'll move on.
And they're a VERY good basketball team. I can easily see them beating Memphis.

I've taken some hits. Hadn't counted on Ark. and Iowa to fall down like they did, but my Sweet 16 teams are all still alive, and that is the main thing. I'm feeling pretty good about my chances right now.
