Our little 6 month golden retriever is ready for some discipline. Does anyone know of a good trainer in the Lexington area?

This is where I took my blue-heeler 12 long years ago. lol
Best Friends Obedience (http://www.angelfire.com/ky/bestfriendsobedience/)
I was happy with the results. Their goal is to train your dog to become a "Canine Good Citizen".

I would recommend the fine folks at the Lexington Kennel Club. Billie Kovacs, Susan Downing and Chris Miara. They are highly trained, they are active in almost all types of dog related competition and I have taken both of my dogs through their courses. I just had my puppy graduate from one of their classes this week infact. If you are interested (a new set of classes are going to start within the next 2 weeks), send me a PM and I'll give you their telephone number + a reference to use.

That is a pretty Golden puppy -- I love Golden Retrievers. The dog in my avatar is Buddy (he is sitting patiently watching our Bearded Dragon T-Rex) (the one laying down next to him is Kelly -- a young rottie). He is our 4 year old Golden Retriever and the best companion I've ever had. I want another Golden Retriever, but my wife will not let me get another. :icon_cry: She said that Buddy was worse than a kid for the first 2 years.
