I know their home court is technically The Pavillion, but they played several home games at the Wachovia Center in Philadelphia this year. This just doesn't seem fair to Monmouth or Arizona to have to play true road games in the NCAA Tournament.

So if, hypothetically, UK plays a few home games at Memorial Coliseum next year, would they get to play in the Rupp sub-regional?

They are the #2 overall seed. They've earned the right to play there. You wouldn't complain if 4 years from now we are a 1 seed playing in the new Louisville arena would you???

I do recall being a #1 seed and having to play Marquette in their backyard for the regional final (Minneapolis, I believe). Villanova probably couldn't pay more than 5,000 fans to travel half-way across the country for a tourney game. They got no breaks, however, going to Minneapolis for their regional final.

They only played three games there this year? I guess the only times I saw them were those three games (vs. U of L, UConn, and someone else I can't remember).
